A Word From Your Executive Director

Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits. Ps 103:2 (KJV)

His benefits are marvelous. Here are a few: forgives your iniquity, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from the pit, crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, satisfies you with good. Does your God do these things for you??

Oh my soul I will bow down and worship Him no matter what the circumstances. Lydia and I have been in a windstorm of stuff since the beginning of the year. You have prayed so faithfully for us and God has answered with a yes to your prayers. Our trip to France was a great time of seed sowing. Some heard the Name of Jesus for the very first time. Others were challenged by the message of faith in Jesus. The refugees were able to worship and enjoy a Christmas celebration there in the center of France. Thank you for praying for us and helping us go there. We had two other churches involved in this trip. Now gear up for May 30-June 9 trip as we return to follow-up on the visits and seed sowing.

Your association locally still continues to bless you our churches. Our Mission Builders led by John Holley have completed a project locally at FBC Bunnell. We have saved them over $20,000. Pray and join them on their next project which looks to be the building of a new church building in St. Johns County. Dates to be announced.

I continue to work with churches and search committees and help in outreach projects in our churches. The biggest one is coming up with the Putnam Co. Fair. We need you to volunteer. How could you miss out on such an opportunity? We have two free tickets depending on the date to the fair and you can sit and tell many people about your church and best of all lead them to Jesus. Call us for details and sign up.

Please pray for an upcoming conference at Southwestern Seminary. We have two pastors going to this preaching conference. Also pray for your teams and get ready to send someone to the Tax Update Conference February 23 at 10 am. As always, I stand ready to help you in anyway possible. Just call me. Continue to pray for me as I lead in all aspects of this great Association.

Verse of the day

“For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean.
